Okay I have got to buy this book. It seems to be a pretty good survey of the emerging technologies in bioinformatics.

The ActionScript Language reference Similar to that found in Java is finally available. I was so happy that I had to download the standalone to put in my portableUSB Drive to make sure it’s always with me!

I decided to take on my personal project of moving the site to a flash based front end. I’ve been using ARP all day at work and figure I should get some of the benefit of it also. In that vain this page will become chaos while I get all of that together(as [...]

My feeling is that getting to know the language well gives me a better appreciation not only of the steps that Flex saves me but gives me the benefits of knowing the steps that are involved in certain compounded Flex features and therefore more able to customize stuff later on. Besides it’s my guess [...]

Since Macromedia’s plans are increasingly manifesting themselves as being enterprise directed (without forgetting it’s roots) I’m really feeling that they put a bunch of stuff in that player that my brain would pretty much not acknowledg even if they drew me a picture. What leads me to feel that is the post hat I [...]

That’s it- that simple. Today’s main thought is that given the same murmur in a patient… the observation of increase in murmur with inspiration is indicative of a right sided cause.
The reason- inspiration increases the pressure and circulation on the right side.
Along those same lines patients with tricuspid lesions will have spread of bacteria [...]

This is how I allocate more memory to Eclipse so it runs smoother:
eclipse.exe -vmargs -Xmx512M

First of all I grouped my components with my component inspector. It’s a little thing that throughout the day came to mean a lot.
I took my [...]
