Found my backup-sql. About to restore my blog…Wait!!! don’t wanna spam MXNA

I was messing with wordpress and came across this ingenious backup plugin on my new version of my blog.  Then it dawned on me that I had seen this before.  I was able to go to the archives that I keep of my hard drive and find a backup of the sql of my blog up to July 2006.  That’s several years worth of posts so I’m excited.    Can someone tell me how I would avoid flooding MXNA with posts when I do my MYSQL update?
