Portable Firefox, Portable Flash etc

I just discovered Portable Apps. I’m working in a secure environment where I was not able to get Flash Player 9 installed to view certain content…until the idea struck me to run down to my office, get my USB and install Firefox on that-> That quickly lead to the discovery of a thousand uses for my USB including as a means of installing browser plugins that my work computers won’t let me–FlashPlayer 9 for example.  What’s funny is that Portable apps have been mentioned in my face for weeks months an I didn’t have a need or see them as a possible solution and therefore didn’t care.  Wow- did I overlook a major one!  I’ve been seriously under utilizing my USB!
