I stopped by the Spokeo site that I blogged about when they were in Beta back in March to do a paranoid search of what they had scraped up about me on the internet. Well, I wasn’t surprised when I discovered the service now came in two flavors- free and premium. The free gives you limited snooping on your friends while the premium lets you snoop deeper from rates from $5 a month to $2.46 a month if you commit for the year. I can’t even see all of my stuff to know what to go make anonymous!
When I Googled about Spokeo I found that Aral and other bloggers had the same response. My cell phone also went off with a text message telling me that someone had been searching the net for me and all of my contacts got the same creepy email that lead me to the site.
